Dubai Courts book released

Launched today, Media Prima’s book on the history of law in Dubai and the 50 year history of Dubai Courts goes on sale this week.

Scales of Justice — in both English and Arabic versions — is the most comprehensive story of any law system ever published in the region. Tracing the origins of Sharia and its impact on early western law systems, the book goes on to show how Dubai Courts emerged as an important conduit to the modern emergence of Dubai as a 21^st century city.
